UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence merit-based scholarships are available to all UCD Smurfit candidates who have Irish citizenship and cover the full cost of the Master’s program to which the candidate joins.

The grant is awarded to international students with outstanding achievement at UCD Smurfit.

Who can apply for?

  The UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence Scholarship will be awarded to successful master’s candidates, with scholarships covering between 25% and 50% of tuition fees.

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with honors 1.1 (honors) Get a level 8 or be on your way to a honors 1.1 in the summer of 2021.  Please note that UCD Belfield programs are run in conjunction with UCD Smurfit – Master of Biotechnology and Business, Master of Biotherapy and Business and Master of International Law and Business – not eligible for scholarships.

  Scholarship benefits

  The amount for UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence Scholarships is from 25% to 50% of the cost of full-time study in the master’s program.  These merit-based scholarships are available to all UCD Smurfit candidates who have Irish citizenship and cover the full cost of the Master’s program to which the candidate joins.

  Eligibility criteria for UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence Scholarships

  • Scholarships UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence scholarships are open to self-sponsored candidates who have been offered a place in a full-time master’s program.
  • Applicants must complete the application process of the program of their choice and meet the required entry requirements.
  • Master of Biotechnology and Business, Master of Biotherapy and Business and Master of
  • Open to all successful full-time postgraduate candidates who do not live in Ireland and have the appropriate minimum qualifications.

  UCD Smurfit School MSc Academic Excellence Scholarships Application Procedure

There is no separate application process for this scholarship.  Interested candidates only need to apply for a place to study at the school.  All successful applicants for the UCD Smurfit School Master’s program will be considered. You can also send an email to smurfit.admissions@ucd.ie for more information.

  Applicants may apply for more than one scholarship if they have succeeded in obtaining more than one scholarship, but they may accept only one scholarship.  Scholarships cannot be combined or combined.

  Candidates will receive a larger amount.  Applicants may not transfer or use one scholarship or scholarship between or against another program. The scholarship cannot be postponed to the next academic year; they are applied and awarded to the student only for the year when he is offered a place in UCD Smurfit.  If a student later decides to postpone his / her offer, he / she will lose the scholarship or scholarship and will be obliged to apply in the future.
