The UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellows Programme is inviting applications from eligible young Nigerian graduates with little or no experience. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
The Jubilee Fellows Programme is a youth empowerment partnership initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) geared towards mitigating the developmental impact of rising national unemployment and underemployment rates.
Details About the UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellows Programme
The target of the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme is to place 20,000 highly skilled Nigerian youths in private and public sector organisations spanning various types, sizes and industries across the country. The programme is a 12-month fully paid programme designed to enhance employability, building leadership competencies and transferring on-the-job skills.
Eligibility Criteria for the UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellows Programme
To be eligible for the UNDP/Nigerian Government Jubilee Fellowship Programme, applicants are to meet the requirements for the programme as follows:
- Must be a Nigerian youth passionate about steering the course of national development in their various fields of endeavours.
- Must demonstrate excellent academic abilities as well as great leadership potentials.
- Must be available for the programme during the entire period of the fellowship.
